Anna-Kay Shoot: Banksy Tunnel
A couple of months ago I was so fortunate to be able to collaborate with the wonderful Anna-Kay Gayle, model and free lance dancer. Anna-Kay was looking to update her portfolio and I to branch into editorial portraiture and contemporay portraiture. I'd wanted to use a cool urban setting so we headed to the 'banksy tunnel' under Waterloo station. I had an absolute blast and Anna-kay was great to work with. taking direction and rolling with my ideas and playing a really active roll in the direction of the shoot. I love this approach as you can feed off of each other's ideas to make something as great as it can be. I shot this, using solely natural light, we were blessed with a nice over-cast day and I scouted locations that would shape it and give it the direction I wanted. I used my trusty Canon 5d Mark ii and for the most part my 24-70mm lens.
