Birthday Celebrations
In February I was comissioned to take photos at the lovely Rebecca's Birthday celebrations at The Sun, Carshalton. It was a great party in a really cool venue.
Rebecca gives the lowdown on the whole occasion:
1. What was the theme of the party? My 40th, a leisurely yummy lunch with friends... lots of friends and lots of wine! 2. Why did you pick the venue? Close by, love the food, lovely room ... 3. Why do you love to host parties? I love hosting parties, getting people together, making memories 4. What Have been your highlights of the past 40 years? Marrying my Husband Campbell, who I have been with for almost 14 years and our beautiful 4year old daughter, Holly-Jo.
5. What advice would you pass onto others about throwing a birthday party? As we get older we all have more and more commitments so it is important to let people know in advance, preferably do a ‘save the date’ months in advance!
6. What were the biggest hurdles or challenges during the planning? No hurdles really, just getting everyone to confirm their menu choices took a bit of time.
7. What were the best parts of the party? My husband did this lovely speech about me, making people laugh and then being very thoughtful and then making people cry!
8. Why are photos important to you? They help you remember the details of the day and capture moments you were not in 9. When will you next host a party? When my little girl turns 5, she wants a Disney & Dinosaurs party!
